Stila Nouveau Natural Eyeshadow Palette Review

Stila Nouveau Natural palette is the latest palette i have bought and have been using it everday for a couple of months now & I am pretty impressed with it. So I thought it was time for a review.

This palette was released as a part of Stila's Sping 2015 Collection and is limited edition.
You can purchase this palette from Mecca Maxima/ Mecca Cosmetica for $68.

I quite like the packaging for this palette. It very travel friendly, with a sleek and sturdy plastic covering.
Stila has also included the names on the back of the palette, which is a nice extra.

Some shadows have better pigmentaion and are creamier than others. But all the shades blend out easily.
I found that the shades Desire and Coco were on the sheer and streaky side, with more than 1 layer needed to get the desired amount.
My favorite shades from the palette are Kitten, Inflict, Individual and Jezebele.

This eyeshadow palette has a great mix of warm neutral colours and matte and shimmer shades. 12 eyeshadow in total with 7 Mattes and 5 shimmer eyeshadows.
So this works perfectly for both everyday wear and also evening smokey eyes.
Defiantly recommend if you are looking for your first eyeshadow palette or for another to add your makeup collection.

Left - Right: Java, Gilded Gold, Coco, Understanding, Jezebel, Wit, Desire, Dune, Wind, Inflict, Individual & Kitten.

*Shades Individual and Dune have been swatched in the opposite order. Sorry for the confusion.*

Dusty Pink / Mauve Lipstick Picks

Normally my everyday go to lipstick picks are warm toned pinks and corals. But lately I have been loving wearing cool toned dusty pink-mauve shades. For me they are a 'my lips but better colour' and really compliment any makeup and outfit.
Here are the colours in my collection that have been getting quite abit of use.

~ Left - Right: Covergirl Colorlicious 335 Tantilize, Chi Chi Viva La Diva Drop Dead Gorgeous, MAC Pink Plaid, MAC Brave, Stila Stay all day Patina & Innoxa Lip Cream Loveable Lilac. ~

 Covergirl Colorlicious Lipstick 335 Tantilize

Tantilize is the more purple toned lipstick, that is highly pigmented with a satin finish.

Chi Chi Viva La Diva Drop Dead Gorgeous (Matte)

When i first tried on this lipstick i was dissapointed with my choice. But after accidentally
putting this one on instead of another Chi Chi lipstick one day my opinion changed. It is the darkest from the bunch. A dark dusty pink with a little brown undertone

 MAC Pink Plaid (Matte)

Pink Plaid is the lipstick that started my obsession with these lipstick colours! It is the lightest out of the 6 lipsticks. Pink Plaid is dusty pink with a non drying matte finish.

MAC Brave (Satin)

For my skintone this is my perfect Kylie Jenner/ 90's brown lipstick. It doesn't have too much brown and has a warm pink undertone.

Stila Stay All day Liquid Lipstick Patina

Stila Patina and Chi Chi Drop Dead Gorgeous are close dupes, but with different finishes. Patina is a long lasting liquid lipstick formula that dries to a matte consistency. Patina has a more of a mauve colour.

Innoxa Lip Cream Loveable Lilac

I love using Innoxa's lip cream for a light layer of colour and gloss. It works great paired with a similar lipliner underneath.

Priceline 40% off Haircare Haul

Every now and then Priceline has 2 day offers with 40% off either cosmetics, skincare or haircare. The latest sale is haircare. (Tuesday 11th - Wednesday 12th of August)
The haircare sale came just at the right time for me, as I am just about to run out of my current shampoo and conditioner.
Here are the products I picked up.

OGX Moisture + Vitamin B5 Shampoo and Conditioner  ~RRP $17.99 each~

I have walked past the range of OGX hair products in the past but have never bought anything, but been curious to see what they are like. With the 40% off, why not give it a go. I picked up the Moisture + Vitamin B5 Shampoo and Conditioner because my hair is always in need of moisture and strengthening. This shampoo and conditioner claims to "Drench and nourish every strand with this rich blend of Vitamin B5 that speeds moisture to stressed locks, rebuilds damaged lipidsto improve ability to retain moisture, while adding strength and elasticity to get your hair back to healthy."
Look forward to trying these out!

OGX Anti-Breakage Keratin Oil 3 Minute Miraculous Recovery  ~RRP $19.99

I normally use De Lorenzo's Instant Rejuvenate treatment and like using it, but the one down side is leaving the treatment in for 10-15 minutes. So what had me interested about this treatment is that you leave it in your hair for only 3 minutes. High hopes for this treatment!

Tresemme Keratin Smooth Heat Protector  ~RRP $11.50~

This heat protector is a repurchase! I will probably keep buying this until something better comes along.

Tresemme Youth Boost Fullness Emulsion Spray   ~RRP $10.99~

I put this in my basket at the last minute just before paying. I don't currently have any products for thicker and fuller hair. Keen to see how it works!

Thanks for reading, Let me know if you would like to see any reviews on these products.

Sukin Skincare Review

A new brand that I have been slowly discovering and loving in the past couple months is Sukin.
Sukin is an Australian brand that focus on delivering environmental conscious beauty products, without any harsh chemicals such as Sodium Sulphates, synthetic fragrances, artificial colours and Parabens.

One of the reasons why I enjoy Sukin products is because they are affordable! The products range from $10 to $25.
Sukin is branded for all skin types with different products suited for your skins specific needs and concerns. I personally have dry, dehydrated and extremely sensitive skin and all the products I have used so far have worked great, with no irritations.

You can find Sukin in Priceline, Chemist Warehouse and other indepdant pharmacies. More often than not you can find Sukin on sale, which is an added bonus!

Cream Cleanser $9.95

I use this cleanser daily and leaves my skin feeling clean soft and moisturized. Because this cleanser is cream based with ingredients such as Aloe Vera, Rose Hip Oil and other moisturizing ingredients my skin isn't left feeling tight.

Hydrating Mist Toner $9.95

I never thought i would need a toner, but the Hydrating Mist Toner is a versatile product that can be used many ways. I use this toner after showering, cleansing and through out the day. It adds an light extra layer of moisture with a nice cooling affect.

Sensitive Facial Moisturizer $9.95

When i first this moisturizer i knew I would love it. It is super rich and creamy texture which leaves my skin soft and full of moisture. It is suitable to be used under foundation.
I find with other moisturizers after a couple of applying them, my face becomes itchy and red. Which is no fun at all! No chance of this happening with this Sukin moisturizer.

Sukin Super Greens Range

Sukin's latest products are the Super Greens range which is aimed to detoxify the skin with super ingredients including kale, spirulina, parsley and chlorella. Which are enriched with vitamins and antioxidants for healthy and youthful skin.

Detoxifying Facial Scrub $12.95

Dry skin = dry flakes. No good!
This scrub will gently exfoliate the skin to remove dead skin cells and impurities. I use this while I'm in the shower. The micro beads are give a gentle and nourishing scrub so this can be used daily.

Detoxifying Clay Masque $15.95

The Clay Masque is my latest purchase from Sukin. I'm not normally a face mask fan, but the claims of super greens ingredients for a healthy and youthful complexion got me interested! I would normally leave the mask on for 15 minutes and wash off with warm water.

The collection of Sukin products that I have collected work great for me and would recommend trying the Hyrdating Toner, Facial Moisturizer and the Super Greens Facial Scrub.

Current Make-Up Favorites

Mecca Cosmetica Lit From Within Primer

If dewy skin is for you, then you will love this primer! It really does make your skin look lit from within. An everyday go to for a healthy glowing complexion. An extra plus is that it doesn't take forever to skin into your skin, unlike some other primers.

~ Too Faced Chocolate Soleil, Inglot Sculpting Powder & The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer ~

~ Swatches Left - Right: Too Faced, Inglot & The Balm ~

Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer

As a fair skinned girl (MAC NC15) it is hard to find the perfect bronzer that suits my skintone. But the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soliel is a nice everyday warm shade with a buildable coverage. Plus it does smell like chocolate.

Inglot Freedom System HD Sculpting Powder ~ Shade 505

This is another must have product for fair skinned girls. A great contouring shade which great pigmentation and is bendable. But be careful not to use a heavy hand, because it can look muddy when too much product is applied.
Inglot have a great shade selection to pick from to suit a wide variety of skintones.

The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer

A cult make-up product that is worth the hype! As you can see from the photo above, I have used the Mary-Lou quite abit. It is a light golden shade and can be built up the intensity that is preferred.

~ Chi Chi Viva La Diva Lipstick, Sportsgirl Pout About it Lipstick & Innoxa Full Colour Lip Cream ~

~ Left - Right: Innoxa Loveable Lilac, Chi Chi Game On & Sportsgirl Mystic ~

Innoxa Full Colour Lip Cream ~ Loveable Lilac

Innoxa's Full Colour Lip Cream has a nice amount of pigmentation without having the sticky feeling of a lipgloss. I would normally wear a lipliner similar to my natural lips with 2 layers on top. They leave your lips with a subtle stain after the shine wears off.
Plus they taste pretty good!

Chi Chi Viva La Diva Lipstick ~ Game On (Matte)

For me, this is the perfect lipstick shade that matches any make-up look and is easy to wear on a everyday basis.
Game On is a soft pink shade.

Sportsgirl Pout About it Lipstick ~ Mystic

I have found that Sportsgirl's lipstick range can either be a hit or a miss. But Mystic is defiantly a hit! It is a purple toned berry shade, with great colour pay-off and a non drying finish.

Loreal Brow Artist Plumper

Loreal Brow Artist Plumper ~Blonde

I bought this brow gel after Shannon from 'shaaanxo' on Youtube continues to recommend an use this on her channel, and how could I not give it a go. The Loreal Brow Plumper is the second brow gel I have tried after Australis' brow tint that I wasn't a fan of.
I love the Loreal Brow plumper because the formula isnt too thick, but still enough to tame my brows in place. Secondly the spoolie brush head is just the right size.
